Treeview operates as a high-talent density world-class full-time core team.
Every member of Treeview’s core team is expected to share our vision and embody the principles outlined in our Treeview Operating System.
Treeview also collaborates with an ecosystem of long-term freelancers who are key contributors to Treeview’s success.
We are in the era of generalists. Highly specific tasks are becoming increasingly easy to automate, making the ability to execute broadly across diverse domains more valuable than ever. We adopt a generalist mindset, masters in a niche and be proficient enough across the full spectrum to contribute meaningfully.
Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Maintain a beginner’s mindset to develop constant learning and improvement. Avoid complacency by striving for continuous growth. Cultivate a sense of urgency to drive progress and pursue excellence in all endeavors. How you approach anything reflects how you approach everything.
Action is everything. We value the power of execution and a proven track record over credentials. Ideas are a dime a dozen. Execution and agency is everything.
We learn by doing, experimentation and first principle thinking. We avoid proxies as a source of truth. We question conventional wisdom and find our own way of doing things.
Treeview is a remote-first team, which means we don’t have the nuanced communication available to in-office teams. We love remote work and we feel we outperform office teams by working remotely in the open.
Working in the open means actively sharing what we’re working on, progress and challenges using our communication stack. We power-use platforms like Toggl, Slack updates, Slack availability and statuses, Notion, Linear, Figma and Git to keep everyone in the loop, informed and in sync of our progress.
Transparency builds trust, efficiency and great communication which is the foundation of a high performing team.
Trust is the highest currency at Treeview. Successful collaboration, both internally and with clients, is built on it. We over invest in trust early and with urgency because it is the resource that enables all collaboration.
Trust starts at zero and is built drop by drop and lost in large spills. Over-delivering, over-communicating, aligning expectations, going the extra mile, clarifying assumptions, sharing though processes and investing in the quality of delivery deposits in the trust bank. Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust.
